San Bruno Reduces City Services Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

San Bruno is reducing city programs and services as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19, officials said Friday.

SAN BRUNO, CA — San Bruno is reducing city programs and services as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19, officials said Friday.

All public meetings are cancelled or postponed, with the exception of City Council meetings, which will continue to be held at the San Bruno Senior Center and will be set up to allow for social distancing by attendees.

Other changes include partial closure of some public counters.All after-school programming, including After School Adventures and Afterschool Education and Safety are cancelled through April 3.

All senior center activities, including tax preparation appointments, are cancelled through March 27. Lunch service at the center will still be available to senior citizens in need, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays. Lunches will be provided in takeout containers and cannot be eaten at the site.
