San Carlos Man Arrested For Robbery, Domestic Violence

A 34-year-old man is accused of jumping through a food stand window near Home Depot in order to shove and steal from his ex-girlfriend.

SAN CARLOS, CA — A man was arrested for robbery and domestic violence after police said he jumped through a food stand window in front of a Home Depot, pushed and then robbed his ex-girlfriend.

San Carlos police responded around 5:35 p.m. Saturday to reports of a strong-arm robbery that had occurred in front of the Home Depot. In the parking lot, police found and arrested the man, a 34-year-old San Francisco resident.

After investigating, police determined that the man had jumped through an enclosed food stand window in front of the Home Depot, forcibly pushed the woman — his ex-girlfriend — and stole her cell phone and purse before fleeing.

The woman was uninjured and her belongings was returned to her, police said. The man was booked into the San Mateo County Jail on felony charges of robbery and commercial burglary and a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence.
