San Mateo County Official Ballots Mailed to Voters
Good news! Voters have begun receiving their Official Ballots for the Nov. 6, 2018, Statewide General Election.

Information regarding the Board of Education race was inadvertently omitted from the Sample Ballot / Voter Information Pamphlet, and it was necessary to print and package an insert with this information with the ballots.
All ballots were mailed out well within the time period prescribed by the Elections Code, and all registered voters should receive their ballots this week.

There are seven outdoor drop boxes that are available for 24 hours a day.

Vote centers have been open since Oct. 9.
Vote centers provide a wide variety of voter services, allowing voters to obtain their VBM ballots, vote on an eSlate or cast a paper ballot.

The Accessible Vote by Mail System is now available for use until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 6, 2018.
Voters with disabilities can vote privately and independently by accessing and marking a ballot in a screen-readable format from any computer.
