WOMEN:

CSM 74, Ohlone 42: Brittney Lewis had 22 points to lead College of San Mateo to an easy Coast North Conference opening win, 74-42, at Ohlone College in Fremont Wednesday night. Kaitlyn Tamondong had eight assists. Ava Agustin had seven steals and three assists. All 11 CSM players scored. Ohlone led, 15-14, at the first quarter break but CSM outscored the Renegades, 21-5, in the second period to take control, 35-20, at halftime.

CCSF 78, Skyline 58: Although Skyline took an early, 10-8 lead after the first quarter, Coast North favorite City College of San Francisco took control at halftime, 32-27, en route to a league opening 78-58 home victory on Wednesday. Olga Faasolo had 17 rebounds and 13 points for Skyline. Giselle Mahinay also scored 13 points for the Lady Trojans.
