SBPSD accepting applications to serve on CITIZENS’ OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE – for expenditures of Measure X Bond Funds

The District is now accepting applications for appointment to the new oversight committee.

Members will serve a two (2) year term with no member serving more than three (3) consecutive terms.

The members of this committee shall review expenditure reports produced by the District to ensure that (a) bond proceeds were expended only for the purposes set forth in the Measure, as applicable; and (b) no bond proceeds were used for any inappropriate teacher or administrative salaries or other operating expenses, in accordance with Attorney General Opinion 04- 110 issued on November 9, 2004.

Deadline to apply is January 4.
