I Charles ( Chuck ) Zelnik Jr. have lived in San Bruno for 32 years with Susan (wife); two children C J and Amanda who graduated from SBPSD. We owe their educational start to the great teachers and support staff of the SBPSD. After college, they move back to San Bruno. C J and Kaile (wife) have 2 children, Brody (6) 1st grade Portola Elementary and Olivia(2).

Quality of education is what I have been striving for these past 27 years.

2001 to 2007, I served as a SBPSD board member and president; lead and worked with other board members to sell the closed Carl Sandburg School for over $30M. This money was to be used to build a new Parkside Junior High School. Instead the district only built half a school; $15 Million was intentionally diverted to pay into a extremely underfunded employee benefits fund. District Management has deficit spend far too long.

2 years ago the San Mateo County Office of Education took control of SBPSD due to several years of deficit spending and poor finance choices.

I am asking for your vote on November 6, 2018 to better SBPSD.
