Smoke Near San Bruno BART Station Causes Delays

A smoldering cable on the tracks​ near the San Bruno BART station forced fire crews to respond and caused a 10-minute delay.

SAN BRUNO, CA — A smoldering cable on the tracks near the San Bruno BART station forced fire crews to respond and caused a 10-minute delay early Wednesday, KTVU reported.

A BART dispatcher first reported smoke on the tracks between the San Bruno and San Francisco International Airport stations at 5:55 a.m. It caused a delay on the San Francisco Line in multiple directions.

Normal service had resumed later Wednesday morning.
