The current show judged by Edna Acri, Catherine Street Delfs, and Olga Parr at the Society of Western Artists Fine Art Center, 527 San Mateo Ave., San Bruno (3 storefronts north of Starbucks) runs until December 29, 2018. Please check our website for directions at

The Center is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

First place went to Arena Shawn for her amazing watercolor “Fire Dance.�

Second place was awarded to Will Maller for his oil “Joy Bubble� and

third place went to new member Rema Mansi for her charcoal “Old Man.�

Laurie Rodriguez was given honorable mention for her non-representational oil “Attraction.�

The People’s Choice from our last show was awarded to Deepali Kapatkar for her Pastel “Blue House.�

Other show participants are Sharon Harris, Susan Pizzi, Carrie Drilling, Barbara Alger, Arena, Fran Simontacchi, Yvonne Newhouse, Lynne Flodin, Gabriella Truckai, Rose Nieponice, Diana Day Glynn, Diana Liguori, and Jane Presta.
