YouTube Goes Behind the Scenes of 'Caine's Arcade'
The video-sharing company, based in San Bruno, did a Q&A with the filmmaker to get some insight about a viral video about a 9-year-old boy who built his own cardboard arcade.
YouTube recently did a Q&A with the filmmaker behind a viral video posted on the site about a 9-year-old boy who built an elaborate cardboard arcade in his dad's used auto parts store.
Since the video, Caine's Arcade, was posted in April, it has gained more than 3 million views.
In the Q&A, the filmmaker talks about his strategy behind the viral video and his reaction once it gained popularity (he was initially trying to raise $25,000 for a scholarship fund for the boy, but donations ended up totaling more than $100,000).
