Advice From Mom: Always Smile! Patch Mother's Day Photos

SAN CLEMENTE, CA -This South Orange County mother and daughter share a love of outdoors, spending time together, and love the gorgeous Orange County south county city they call home.

Mother Leanne Rodgers told us about her daughter in their 2017 Orange County Half Marathon race.

"My daughter, Kimberly Fisher and I posed at the finish line after running the half-marathon on May 7," she said.

According to her mother, "Kim is always ready for an adventure and we had so much fun doing this together."

Leanne Rodgers acknowledged that for a mom, the days are long but the years are short.

She recalled a summer afternoon in 1996 when her daughter was a mere 3-years-old at their prior home in Burbank.

Advice given to new moms?

"Our time with our children is short, so enjoy those moments while you can,"Leanne suggested. "And always smile."
