Animal Shelter, Chock Full of Cats, Offers Deals
The San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter has more than 60 cats on hand and 30 in foster homes, so it's offering big discounts on adoption fees over the next month.
The San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter is loaded with cuddly felines, and shelter officials say they need to move some of their furry inventory post-haste.
That's why the shelter is offering big adoption fee discounts and added bonuses according to a release from the city of San Clemente.
Through August, cats can be adopted for $50, which is half off the shelter’s standard adoption fee of $100.

The shelter currently has over 60 cats in-house and another 20-30 cats in foster homes awaiting adoption. Cats adopted during this promotional event will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and the owner will receive a bag of cat food, all at no extra cost, according to the release.
