Through Americorps VISTA (A Federal Program), our Boys & Girls Club is looking for a full-time College Access Coordinator to assist us in helping our members reach their goals for college and building our overall educational membership experience. Member Duties : This VISTA will develop and/or expand programming that helps our members prepare for, enter into, and graduate from college; Develop and improve strategies that help our members understand college admission requirements, the application process, and financial aid; Develop programming to promote a college-going culture; Increase the number of Club members that prepare for and enter into college; Develop relationships with colleges and universities; Identify and disseminate information students and parents need about admissions requirements, application process, testing, and financial aid; Arrange college tours; and Provide resources to students and parents. Program Benefits : Education award upon successful completion of service, Relocation Allowance, Training, Health Coverage, Living Allowance, Childcare assistance if eligible, Reimbursement for project related travel. Terms : Permits attendance at school during off hours, Car recommended, Prohibits paid work outside of the sponsoring agency(Boys & Girls Club) at any time .
