Coronavirus Updates In San Clemente: No New Cases Thursday
San Clemente reported no new coronavirus cases, Thursday. 6 others have died in OC in two days. Another 51 people tested positive in OC.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Three more residents died as a result of the coronavirus, Thursday, Orange County Health Care Agency reported, bringing the region's death toll to 25. A total of 1,425 residents have tested positive for the illness to date.
In San Clemente, 43 residents currently tested positive for the virus, and no new cases were reported Thursday.
The number of COVID-19 cases grew by 51 across the county. The number of hospitalized patients increased to 138, and the number of those in intensive care rose to 68 on Thursday, Orange County Health Care Agency officials said. All 24 area hospitals reported in with data on Thursday.

There have been 15,942 residents tested for the virus, and there are currently enough kits to test 2,856 more specimens.
Since Tuesday, an additional 637 more people received tests for the disease.

Of the county's total cases:
- 25 people are under 18 years old;
- 114 people are between 18-24;
- 234 people are between 25-34;
- 206 people are between 35-44;
- 569 people are between 45-64;
- 277 people are 65 or older.
Men make up over half of the county's cases, and over half of those who have succumbed to COVID-19.
Of the deaths:
- 2 were 25 to 34 years old,
- 1 was 35 to 44,
- 10 were 45 to 64,
- 12 were 65 or older.
Of the deceased, 14 were men and 11 were women, OC Health Care reported. It was not known if the deceased had underlying health conditions as of this report.
The newly collected data of ethnicity shows that of those who have died in Orange County:
- 9 were Asian
- 5 were white
- 8 were Latino
- 1 was black or African American
- 2 were not classified
Anaheim has the most COVID-19 cases in the county with 162, followed by Santa Ana with 142 and Irvine with 106. Huntington Beach has 97, but Newport Beach is close behind with 90.
Newport Beach's numbers did not change, overnight, for the first time this week.
