It is unclear from reports whether the young woman killed herself or was hit accidentally.

The Orange County Coroner has identified a woman killed by a train in North Beach July 1 as Alexa Saulietis, 26, of San Clemente.

She was struck by a freight train south of the Metrolink platform in San Clemente 10:45 p.m. Monday in the area of Senda de la Playa and Avenida Estacion, said Lt. Gary Strachan of the Orange County Sheriff's Department last week.
