At 5:45 pm on Thursday, a suspicious person was reported when the informant saw the person cutting down city trees in the park at the 300 block of Calle Escuela.
At 11:24 am on Thursday, a woman reported a petty theft at the 300 block of Camino San Clemente in which she said that her caregiver stole a knife from her residence and accused him of trying to kill her with it.
At 6:57 pm on Wednesday, a man and a woman were engaged in a disruptive, physical fight at the 200 block of Avenida Monterey. The man was arrested, with bail set at $50,000.
At 1:09 pm on Wednesday, a 2-year-old boy was reported missing at the 700 block of Calle Vallarta. The mother reported that her son, Logan, was last seen playing in their backyard wearing a red shirt and navy, striped shorts.
At 11:29 am on Wednesday, a caller reported someone throwing fruit at his residence and at his vehicles on Avenida Merida.
At 9:51 am on Wednesday, a caller reported a coyote at the 6300 block of Camino Marinero. The informant said that the coyote was allegedly stalking joggers and chased the informant’s daughter.
At 5:01 pm on Tuesday, deputies were called about a 6-month-old baby locked inside of a navy blue Volkswagen at the 600 block of Calle de los Mares. The caller was unsure of how long the baby was in the car and saw no sign of parent.
At 3:43 pm on Tuesday, a drunk man was taken to the emergency room after his girlfriend hit him over the head with a candlestick at the 600 block of Calle de los Mares.
