CRIME: Man Kicked Mom in Head, Deputies Say
The following are reports pulled from the San Clemente Police Service dispatch log over the past few days.

At 3:33 a.m. Tuesday, a caller from the 3700 block of Calle La Quinta reported someone was trying to break into her house. She told the dispatcher she heard glass breaking and someone moving around upstairs. There was no report of an arrest resulting from the call.
At 2:18 a.m. Tuesday, a caller from the 300 block of Via Montego reported four to five women trying to break into a nearby building.
At 5:57 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a burglary on the 200 block of El Portal.

At 5:51 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a burglary on the 1000 block of Domador.
At 12:27 p.m. Monday, a caller from Saddleback Medical Center on the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares reported a woman patient wouldn't leave. She insisted that her legs were injured, even after doctors examined and discharged her.

At 11:10 p.m. Sunday, deputies arrested a 24-year-old man near the corner of South El Camino Real and Avenida Valencia after a traffic stop.
At 9:25 p.m. Sunday, a caller from the 5900 block of Camino Rocoso reported that his 19-year-old son was intoxicated and trying to leave in the car. Deputies arrested the would-be driver.
At 9:25 p.m. Sunday, deputies arrested a 38-year-old man near the corner of El Camino Real and Avenida Barcelona as a result of a pedestrian check.
At 2:23 p.m. Sunday, deputies arrested a 36-year-old man after a caller from Saddleback Medical Center on the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares reported a disturbance.
At 4:28 a.m. Sunday, a caller from the 100 block of Avenida San Diego reported a burglary in progress; a thin man in flannel was trying to get into his house -- he had taken a screen out of the window. There was no report of an arrest in connection with the call, and no loss of property.
At 2:20 a.m. Saturday, a caller from the 100 block of Avenida Cabrillo reported that a young man was beating up his mother. Arrived and arrested the 20-year-old man, calling paramedics to tend to his mother. The man had allegedly kicked her in the head several times. He remained in custody as of Tuesday afternoon.
At 1:18 a.m. Saturday, deputies arrested a 23-year-old man near the corner of Camino De La Ladera and Camino Vera Cruz after a traffic stop.
At 12:35 a.m. Saturday, deputies reported to Avenida Del Poniente and Calle Puente to reports of a woman in a white Honda with black rims who was swerving all over the road. She stopped on Buena Vista and passed out drunk behind the wheel, according to the dispatch log. The log also stated there was significant damage to the front of the car, but didn't indicate whether deputies located any other vehicles the woman had struck. They arrested the 33-year-old woman at the scene.
