CRIME: Seal in the Ladies Room, Man Takes Beatings
The following are various reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log selected from the past week.

At 11:57 p.m. Thursday on the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares, a caller reported that a man was attempting to break in to multiple vehicles in the parking lot.
At 7:57 p.m. Thursday, a caller from East Avenida Pico and Calle Del Cerro reported that a deer in the road had been hit by a car and was still alive.
At 7:41 p.m. Thursday, a caller from the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares a caller reported a man attempted to cash an $8,000 check at the business. When refused, he threatened that he had guns where he lived across the street and then stalked off, leaving all his personal belongings.

At 9:05 p.m. Wednesday, a caller from the 1400 block of Calle Valle reported a man was in the bar there intoxicated and trying to start a fight. The caller reported the man was punching things and rambling about being recently released from state prison. Police arrested him parked in his car.
At 3:31 a.m. Wednesday, a caller from the intersection of El Camino Real and Los Molinos reported that he had just been beaten up, and then "put the phone down to take another beating," according to dispatch reports.

At 9:21 p.m. Tuesday at the 300 block of Paseo de Cristobal, a caller reported a baby seal in the women's beach restroom. Officials escorted the seal back "home" and left a message for Friends of the Sea Lion.
At 3:19 p.m. Tuesday, a woman was arrested for being under the influence of drugs after a traffic stop on the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares.
At 2:34 p.m. Monday, a caller from East Mariposa and El Camino Real reported that a heavyset man in his 20s driving a red sports car pulled up to ask directions and also happened to be masturbating.
At 9:01 p.m. Sunday, a caller from the 400 block of Calle Delicada reported that her 18-year-old daughter had stolen the car and was texting her from the road threatening to crash the vehicle.
