Join the Swimming 4 A Cure Pool Swim to Fight Cancer - It seems like almost everybody’s life has been touched by cancer somehow and that is why we are swimming to raise money for cancer research, prevention and treatment.

New Date - The new date for the pool swim has been set for Sunday, July 15th from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm. We have a full day of fun planned at the San Clemente Aquatics Center.

When: Sunday, July 15th from 8:30am until 1:30pm

What: A fun filled day at a beautiful new venue for kids and adults.  We will have relays, lap swimming, a diving exhibition (http://www.crownvalleydivers.com/Home.html) and other fun things to do on land including a raffle! Prizes include a New World Core Surfboard, New Lost surfboard, two Quiksilver wetsuits, Old Guys Rule tshirts, skimboard videos, skimboard bag and many more!

How to join: Click one of the "register as an individual", "Join an Existing Team" or "Create a team" buttons on the right of the web page to register and get your own fundraising page to send out to your friends and family. 

Fundraising: We ask that swimmers under the age of 18 try to raise $50. Swimmers 18 & Older are asked to try to raise $100. Many will raise more but if everyone raises these amounts, our swim could raise thousands to support cancer research, prevention and treatment.  Non-swimmer donations are always welcome.

Hero Status fundraisers who exceed the minimum will be recognized!

Celebrity Swimmers: Lynn Kubasek from Laguna Beach has swum both the Catalina and Anacapa Island channels.  She will be in attendance and able to answer questions.  Here is short video showing what it takes to swim from Anacapa Island to Oxnard.
