FREE Stuff for Halloween in San Clemente: Scary Pancakes at IHOP

Yes, IHOP -- the home of pancakes of international appeal and global resonance -- will follow its tradition of FREE Scary Face pancakes of Halloween.

Pancakes come in round shape and you will get all of the fixin's to create your own scary face, just like a jack o' lantern!

Kids 12 and under can enjoy a free pancake from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at participating restaurants. San Clemente's IHOP is participating at 915 Avenida Pico. Call ahead, 949-361-9455

Here's what is included:

Kids can create their own Scary Face pancake creations with the provided tools of the trade:

• one buttermilk pancake
• whipped cream
• a strawberry for a nose
• Oreo cookies and candy corn for added ornamentation and artistic complexity.
• Raspberry syrup to create ghoulish extras
