The City Manager's Office of San Clemente invites all to come help shape the future of area beaches, parks and facilities.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — The San Clemente Beaches, Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting public meetings to get the public’s input and help establish priorities for the future of beaches, parks, trails, recreation facilities, programs, and services in San Clemente.

Pamela Passow, Assistant Director of Beaches, Parks and Recreation Department said, “This 10 year Beaches, Parks, and Recreation Master Plan will set the framework for decision makers in the planning, maintenance, and development and/or rehabilitation of our beaches, parks, and recreation facilities.” The City has hired PROS Consulting, Inc., a national parks and recreation management consulting firm to lead the project. The meetings will be held at the San Clemente Community Center located at 100 N. Calle Seville, scheduled as follows:

  • Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 6 p.m.

“The City values public input as it seeks to maximize your enjoyment of our many public facilities. I encourage everyone to get involved in the process and share their opinions on current and future beaches, parks and recreation projects. If you can’t attend a meeting, please share your comments online at the website www.scparksplan.com,” said Mayor Bob Baker.
