Miracle Babies Super Hero 5K Orange County to Support Critically-ill Newborns in the NICU

Proceeds benefit families in need of financial assistance during a newborns hospitalization.

Orange County, CA – The 2nd Annual Miracle Babies Super Hero 5K Orange County will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Aldrich Park on the campus of UC Irvine. Registration will open at 7:00 a.m. for the 5K run at 8:00 a.m. Following the 5k, a family friendly 1-mile walk will take place at 9:00 a.m. Attendees are invited to show their spirit by dressing up as their favorite hero. No matter if it’s Superman, Wonder Woman, Police Officer, Firefighter, Soldier or even a Doctor, all heroes are welcome.

“We are so honored that UC Irvine Health will be the title sponsor for the Miracle Babies Orange County 5K this year,” said Dr. Sean Daneshmand, Founder of Miracle Babies. “Our mission is to unite sick newborns with their families and we want to encourage all participants to help raise funds and awareness for NICU families.”

Registration fee for adults is $25 and for youth (12 and under) is $10. Participants may register and create a fundraising team at www.miraclebabies5k.org. On-site registration will also be available. Vendor and sponsorship opportunities are also available and in-kind donations are being accepted. Incentive levels range from $150 to $1,000 and up.
