Monsignor Anthony McGowan Dies At Age 105, Funeral Friday
The former monsignor of Our Lady of Fatima, San Clemente, a passed away at the Del Obispo Senior Living Facility. He was 105-years-old.
SAN CLEMENTE, CA — A Catholic priest, living at the Del Obispo Senior Living Community in San Juan Capsitrano, died at age 105, it was reported, Thursday.
Monsignor Tony McGowan, Pastor of Our Lady of Fatima from 1976-1986 passed away on August 12, 2020.
An online Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima on Friday August 28, 2020 at 10 a.m., and livestreamed on the church's Facebook page.

"Unfortunately, In order to accommodate the anticipated number of priests attending, the funeral Mass is not open to the public," the church reported over social media.
All parishioners were encouraged to attend the viewing on Thursday, August 27 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Lesneski Mortuary.
