Ocean Water Warning at San Clemente "T" Street Beach

An ocean water warning is in place at San Clemente's "T" Street Beach. This warning that bacterial levels exceed health standards as of 8/2.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA—The Orange County Health Department has alerted that there is a warning in place for the 500 feet in front of "T" Street Beach. The warning as put into place on August 2, 2016.

Warning signs were posted as bacterial levels in the ocean water exceeded health standards in that area. "A weekly surf sample is taken at Trafalgar Canyon Creek where the creek and ocean mix or the projection thereof when not flowing," the Orange County Health Department reported. "The current status is based upon the most recent sampling results."

When a warning is in place, swimmers are advised that ocean water contact may cause illness for swimmers.
