The Makaha Crush, a cocktail crafted by the mixologists from Sunsets at the Pier, is San Clemente's official drink for 2013.

Bartenders from all over town squared off at Adele's Thursday afternoon to vie for the honor of creating the city's official drink.

The annual contest is organized by the San Clemente Chamber of Commerce, and hosts a panel of judges that consists of local city and business leaders, as well as Marines from San Clemente's adopted unit, the 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines.
