Santa's Village By The Sea Returns To San Clemente

SAN CLEMENTE, CA - From the City of San Clemente: The City of San Clemente, Casa Romantica Cultural Center & Gardens, and the Downtown Business Association present “Santa’s Village by the Sea” on Saturday, December 2nd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. This magical holiday celebration will be a joy-filled event for the entire community!

The festivities will begin with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:00 p.m. led by Mayor Kathy Ward on the Community Center lawn which is located on the corner of Avenida Del Mar and N. Calle Seville. Holiday bliss and merriment expands to Santa’s Village at the Community Center, Del Mar Glitz and Christmas at the Casa--all starting at 5:00 p.m.

The Christmas at the Casa holiday open house features a festively decorated Casa Romantica, live music, choral groups, Santa visits, a talking tree, children’s crafts, holiday décor and refreshments. The Casa Romantica open house will close at 7:30 p.m.

Santa’s Village and Del Mar Glitz will be open from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Community Center and along Avenida Del Mar. Holiday activities will include Santa visits, holiday games, an outdoor movie, hot cocoa factory, cookie decorating, train rides, Cinderella’s Carriage, live holiday music and snow hill sledding sponsored by the Friends of San Clemente Beaches, Parks and Recreation Foundation. Stay a little longer to do your holiday shopping as the shops along Avenida Del Mar will be open until 10:00 p.m.
