Swimming At These San Clemente Beaches Could Sicken You
Orange County Health Care Agency alerted residents of high bacteria levels at these South OC beaches.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — If you're planning to beat the heat at the beach this week, you may want to check www.OCBeachInfo.com.
In south Orange County, both Poche Creek and Poche Beach are under high bacteria warnings, Wednesday, the Orange County Health Care Agency reports.
Samples taken at those beaches indicated that levels exceed state health standards and "may cause illness," that agency reported, Wednesday.

At the Poche Creek Ocean Interface, a weekly sample is taken where the creek and ocean mix or the projection thereof when not flowing.
The current status is based upon the most recent sampling results.
