Video: Shark Lurks Trestles as Surfer Wipes Out
Look closely. Is that a shark fin lurking in the background as a surfer wipes out Monday at Lower Trestles in San Clemente.
Video was posted on YouTube today showing what appears to be a shark passing by as a surfer wipes out.
Surf videographer Aarron Salas of the surfboard review channel “Surf Show and Tell” caught an ominous glimpse of a shark’s fin in the water at Lower Trestles in San Clemente on Monday, according to publicist Jessica McCafferty Brennan.

According to Brennan, about 30 surfers were in the lineup at the time, and children played in the water nearby.
A state parks spokeswoman said she was unaware of any beach closures at San Onofre State Beach as a result of the sighting.
