Woman Found Dead in Car in San Clemente

A woman was found dead in a car in the 200 block of Avenida Vista Montana late Saturday morning in San Clemente Saturday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

Few details were available about the woman, but a sheriff’s dispatcher said she may have died of natural causes.

Deputies were sent to the scene at 11:47 a.m. and the woman was declared dead in the car.

The woman was described at being in her 30s, the Orange County Register reported, and firefighters broke one of the car’s windows after they saw her unresponsive inside.

The Orange County Coroner’s office has not released the woman’s identity.
