Case of Hepatitis A Involved Pharmacist From San Leandro Target
The Alameda County Public Health department said that a case of hepatitis A involved a woman who worked as a pharmacist for Target in San Leandro and Hayward, NBC Bay Area reports.

The hepatitis A outbreak linked to organic berries being sold at Costco stores is now also affecting Target customers, according to NBC Bay Area.
The Alameda County Public Health department said that a case of hepatitis A involved a woman who worked as a pharmacist for Target in San Leandro and Hayward, NBC Bay Area reports.
A Target statement said it is in the process to notifying pharmacy customers whose prescriptions were potentially impacted after being filled at the San Leandro or Hayward store locations between May 5 through May 26 through phone, traditional mail and email.
Target said if a customer did not receive a call or email, then their medication is safe.
Target is also encouraging customers who have received medicine from the sick pharmacist to call their doctors. Customers can also contact Guest Relations at 877-RX-TARGET (877-798-2743) with questions.
