Deadly Crash On San Leandro Street

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A bicyclist is dead as a result of a traffic collision in San Leandro Tuesday morning.

The San Leandro Police Department reports that all westbound lanes on Davis Street at Interstate Highway 880 were closed as they investigated the collision.

A white van collided with the man, whose name has not been released. He died at the crash.

Lt. Ali Khan said that two other vehicles may have also hit the man — one was an early 2000s Ford or Chevrolet pickup truck and the other a dark sedan.
