Summer time is a great time to learn how to take care of your mental well-being, your body and your diet.

The San Leandro Public Library will be hosting three programs on improving one’s mind and body. Each of these programs will be held on a Thursday evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Main Library, located at 300 Estudillo Avenue.

On  July 11, author Linda Graham will give a discussion about her recently-published book Bouncing Back: Rewiring Your Brain for Maximum Resilience and Well-Being. A question-and-answer session and a book-signing session will follow the presentation.

On August 1, join us for a fun workshop on yoga. An instructor from Castro Valley Yoga will give attendees a short discussion on yoga philosophy and then give instruction on some basic positions. Wear comfortable clothing.

On August 8, Registered Dietician Susie Garcia will give a presentation on how to make healthy food choices with your diet in order to get the proper nutrition you need. A question-and-answer session will follow.
