Megan Wilske Named San Leandro 911 Dispatcher of the Year
'Not only the calm voice to citizens, but also to the officers faced with life and death decisions on the street,' according to SLPD.

The San Leandro Police Department (SLPD) has named Megan Wilske as 911 Dispatcher of the Year, the second time she has won this honor.
The announcement was made in connection with National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, April 14 through April 20, honoring Public Safety Dispatchers around the country for the role they play in public safety.
SLPD noted that emergency dispatchers are the true "first responders" to a citizen’s call for help.
