Spring is the perfect time for cleaning out the garage or basement and getting rid of stuff you don’t need, like leftover paint, pesticides, old electronics and computers. You can bring all of your leftover hazardous products and old medicines to the free Drop-Off Event in San Leandro on Sunday, May 6, from 9 am – 1 pm.
Just register for a drop off time at: www.stopwaste.org/onedayevent and you’ll receive event details and packing instructions. The event is free for all Alameda County homeowners and renters. There are dedicated drop off times and a separate process for business owners.
This event is sponsored by Alameda County Household Hazardous Waste with support from the city of San Leandro and StopWaste – a public agency whose mission is to reduce waste in Alameda County.
