Junior Warriors Basketball Starts Soon In San Leandro

Have your kids been bored? It's time to get some exercise...games start Jan. 11.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Is fitness on your to-do list for the entire family as 2020 dawns? It's time to sign-up your kids for Junior Warriors Basketball.

Now entering its 20th year in San Leandro, the program is open to boys and girls 5-14 years of age. It will be held on Saturdays beginning Jan. 11 through March 14. The program offers a non-competitive environment where beginners and veterans alike can improve their skills through weekly games and instruction.

The fun takes place at San Leandro High School Fred T. Korematsu Campus and Washington Manor Middle School.

According tot he City, "All participants will receive a Jr. Warriors' jersey, instruction, and league play. This program is co-sponsored by the Golden State Warriors, the NBA, WNBA, and the City of San Leandro."
