Junior Warriors Basketball Starts Soon: Sign-Up Now

SAN LEANDRO, CA —Junior Warriors Basketball is back for its 19th year in San Leandro. This program is open to boys and girls 5-14 years of age. The 2019 youth basketball season will be held on Saturdays from Jan. 12 through March 16, 2019.

The program offers a non-competitive environment where beginners and veterans alike can improve their skills through weekly games and instruction.

All participants will receive a Jr. Warriors' jersey, instruction, and league play. This program is co-sponsored by the Golden State Warriors, the NBA, WNBA and the City of San Leandro.

Games will be played at Washington Manor Middle School and the San Leandro High School 9th Grade Campus.

Pre-registration is required for participation. Register with the San Leandro Recreation and Human Services Department online at www.sanleandrorec.org.

Walk-in registrations are also available at the San Leandro Senior Community Center located at 13909 East 14th Street, or at Marina Community Center located at 15301 Wicks Boulevard.
