Dear Patients, Families, Supporters, and Community members of Davis Street,

In the midst of the COVID-19 virus and shutdowns, Davis Street has implemented strong emergency disaster and risk management protocols. Davis Street is going through extreme measures to protect our staff and volunteers to ultimately be suitable to serve and provide services to those that are still in-need. All Davis Street Staff have been trained to take extra precautions and are executing hygiene, and sanitization safety standards from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We want our community and clients to feel safe when coming onsite for our services. Below is an important list of updates for each department.

Basic Needs:
Davis Street’s Emergency Food Pantry will remain open Monday – Friday 10 am – 5:30 pm
We will offer the option for a drive-through grocery pick up. If any clients are not comfortable coming into the food warehouse and would like to schedule a drive-through food pick up, please text or call 510.561.9042.

Davis Street’s Clothing Program will be closed and we will not be accepting any donations of clothing or household items until further notice. The only donations that will be accepted during this time are unexpired food items. Davis Street staff will be carefully sanitizing all donated food items before distributing to our clients.

Davis Street was created and has functioned to serve our patients in all their difficult times; while the Coronavirus crisis threatens our ways of living, we want to be clear to our patients that we are here, open and willing to help you; we know that your medical conditions do not go away and need attention and we are doing it; for the present time only the well check or “physicals” we are asking to re-schedule; we ask that you collaborate in the precautions for Coronavirus and we are applying protocols to do that at DSCC. Our clients are the most vulnerable and we are committed to ensuring they receive the care they need.
