New Mural, Dog Play Equipment in San Leandro

SAN LEANDRO, CA — The city of San Leandro will celebrate the renovation of a dog park at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday afternoon.

The public is invited to the event at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Marina Dog Park.

A dog-themed mural facing the San Francisco Bay Trail and spanning nearly 600 feet in length was recently installed, along with new turf and dog play equipment.

"We are excited to announce the completion of the newly renovated dog park for our families and their pets at one of our finest City parks," Mayor Pauline Cutter said in a release.

"This project is yet another example of the City's efforts to upgrade and modernize our existing City facilities. We invite members of the public and their pets to join us in the celebration," Cutter said.
