North Bay Casino Says It Will Hire 2,000

The Graton Rancheria Resort & Casino has opened the online employment process to hire 2,000 permanent team members, according to a press release from site manager Station Casinos.

To apply online visit the website of the Graton Resort and Casino then click on “Careers;” then “Apply Now” and follow the prompts to fill out an application.

Available jobs include poker and table games dealers, security officers, guest services, human resources, accounting and IT.

Food and beverage related jobs will also be available, although the hiring will be done closer to the casino’s fall opening.

Although the application process begins now, the casino operator says it will take several months to interview and fill jobs.

Most positions won’t begin training and employment until closer to the property’s opening.

The casino is scheduled to open in Rohnert Park in late 2013 subject to receiving regulatory approvals.

A staggered interview process begins this week.

The first online applications will be accepted for jobs only in slot and casino marketing and guest services; dealers and security.

Every few weeks, applications will be accepted for additional positions and departments such as food and beverage, maintenance and accounting to name a few.

Applicants are encouraged to wait to apply for the position that best fits their qualifications.
