Oakland Police Seek Public's Help In Finding Missing Man

OAKLAND, CA — Police in Oakland are asking the public's help in finding a young man who reported missing earlier this month.
Jeffrey Kirkland, 18, packed his belongings and left a home in the 2100 block of High Street about 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 1, saying that he was going to Vallejo, according to a post Saturday by Oakland police on Twitter.
An unknown person driving a white 4-door Honda Accord picked him up, police said.

Kirkland was wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants. He is described as African-American, 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
