SAN LEANDRO, CA — One person was killed in a crash Thursday night on southbound Interstate Highway 880 just north of state Route 238 in San Leandro the California Highway Patrol said.
The CHP was notified of the crash involving at least one vehicle at 9:20 p.m. and officers arrived to find the driver dead at the scene.
The crash blocked the fourth and fifth lanes and a sig alert was issued.
