Missing San Leandro Man Found Safe

He had seen on Tuesday near the marina, walking toward Oakland.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A 75-year-old partially blind man reported missing after he was last seen Tuesday morning in the area of the San Leandro Marina has been found safe, police said.

Kalvin Schroder had last been seen around 10:45 a.m. walking in the area of the marina toward Oakland. Police said Tuesday afternoon that he was found a few miles away from where he went missing and has been reunited with his family.

San Leandro police did not release any other details about where or when Schroder was found.
