PG&E Suspends Disconnections Because Of Coronavirus

CALIFORNIA — Pacific Gas & Electric announced Thursday it has voluntarily implemented a moratorium on service disconnections for customers due to non-payments.

The move is in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to PG&E officials.

The suspension of service disconnections went into effect immediately, applies to both residential and commercial customers and will remain in effect until further notice, according to PG&E.
