San Leandro: Alameda County Property Taxes Due Dec. 10
There are multiple contactless ways to pay.
ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — Bay Area taxpayers have many options to ensure that they can pay their secured property taxes by the Dec. 10 deadline, despite some county offices being closed due to COVID-19.
Homeowners, landlords and businesses in the nine Bay Area counties and across the state must submit their payment for the first installment of their secured property tax bill by 5 p.m. Dec. 10 to avoid penalty.
The remainder of the bill must be paid by 5 p.m. April 10, 2021.

Paying those bills in person is no longer possible in some counties, and in any event, health officials advise individuals to avoid personal contact with those not in their immediate households when possible. Every county has no-contact alternatives for getting that payment in on time.
Those needing to pay Alameda County property tax bills have a dropbox option at the Treasurer-Tax Collector's office, 1221 Oak St. in Oakland, though the office is currently closed.
