San Leandro Cinco de Mayo Celebration
Mariachi music, regional Mexican Aztec dances, and theatrical performances will be performed by the Ballet Folklorico Costa De Oro.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Great food and a fun celebration are on tap this Friday, as the City of San Leandro holds the 20th annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration. Yes, the celebration is on the 4th, but that leaves the 5th open for even more festivities!
The fun kicks off at 6 p.m. at the Marina Community Center, 15301 Wicks Boulevard. The fiesta promises to be a fun celebration of Mexico's culture and traditions. The event is free and open to the public.
Mariachi music, regional Mexican Aztec dances, and theatrical performances will be performed by the Ballet Folklorico Costa De Oro.

Children will have the opportunity to make traditional Mexican arts and crafts.
Light refreshments will be served and photo booth pictures will be available for purchase.

"San Leandro is one of the most diverse cities in the United States, and this event represents yet another great occasion for us to celebrate that diversity," noted Mayor Cutter. "These types of city-sponsored activities always provide a fun, family-friendly opportunity for the public to come out and spend time with their neighbors and fellow community members."
This event is made possible by the City of San Leandro and donations from several local businesses and individuals, including: The Optimist Club of San Leandro, Ballet Costa de Oro, A Time to Remember Photo Booths, Los Pericos, and Roccab's Café and Deli.
