Students living in San Leandro can create tech and marketing projects for an opportunity to win internships and jobs.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — High school students can have a hard time finding work in Silicon Valley's increasingly competitive job market, which is why PilotCity is hosting a program to help connect students with employers.

Students living in San Leandro, San Lorenzo and the unincorporated areas can join the PilotCity flagship program and create tech projects and business and marketing projects for an opportunity to win internships and jobs.

PilotCity is a San Leandro education technology startup founded in 2015.

Employers partnering with the program include the City of San Leandro Engineering and Transportation Department, the Sustainability Division and the city's elected offices.
Students can register for the program on the PilotCity website.
