San Leandro Schools to March in San Francisco Pride Parade
SLUSD is inviting community members to join in their support for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people, at this year's San Francisco Pride Parade.

San Leandro Unified School District officials will march in the San Francisco Pride Parade for the third year this Sunday and are inviting community members to join in their support for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people, the Contra Costa Times reports.
The event kicks off at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Market Street and Beale Street and ends at Market and 8th Street, the Contra Costa Times reports. Those wishing to participate, are invited to meet at the Davis Street BART station at 9 a.m., according to the Contra Costa Times.
School officials told the Contra Costa Times that San Leandro is the only district to participate in the parade.
