San Leandro voters are deciding on Measure W, which would increase the Real Property Transfer Tax by $5 per $1,000 valuation.

Alameda County had a surplus of volunteers for this election. "We had 4,800 people volunteer for the four days; so we have plenty of volunteers," said Tim Dupuis, Alameda County's registrar of voters.
