San Leandro Woman Dies After Getting Hit By Car Near Lake Chabot

A San Leandro woman who was hit by a car while walking near Lake Chabot died Wednesday, according to the Oakland Tribune reports.
She was identified as Kimberly Rivers, 41, and was walking with another pedestrian around 7:20 p.m. when the two were hit, the Oakland Tribune reports.
An autopsy is scheduled to find out the cause of Rivers' death, the Oakland Tribune reports.

The condition of the other pedestrian is still unavailable as of Wednesday night, according to the Oakland Tribune.
CHP told the Oakland Tribune that the investigation into the accident is ongoing, but the driver whose car hit both Rivers and the other pedestrian was not driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
