Satellite Healthcare Opens Third Dialysis Center in San Leandro

Satellite Healthcare, one of the nation's first and leading non-profit providers of kidney dialysis services and a major sponsor of kidney research, is pleased to announce the opening of Satellite Healthcare West San Leandro.

The center will host an open house on June 25 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
 
Based in San Jose, Satellite Healthcare operates dialysis centers throughout Northern California, and in several states nationwide.

The new location in San Leandro will be Satellite’s third location in the city. There will now be two dialysis in-center treatment locations, and another home dialysis training center (WellBound).
 
The San Leandro open house is the third in a series of events celebrating Satellite’s new dialysis centers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Satellite opened a location this past March in Oakland and in April the Silver Creek location in San Jose opened. Furthering its presence across the nation, Satellite also opened a new center in Glenview, Illinois this past January.
 
“We’re excited to have the opportunity to partner once again with Dr. Al Mufti and his medical group on the new dialysis center in San Leandro,” said Marc Branson, Satellite Healthcare’s Executive Vice President. “Our mission is to educate and treat those with Chronic Kidney Disease in the community.  The opening of this new center helps further our mission to meet the needs of local patients and their families.”
