Stabbing Suspect Arrested After Citizen Alerts Police
Victor Crow was wanted for stabbing a man in the arm after he intervened in a fight he had involving a woman in San Leandro on Oct. 14.
With the help of an alert citizen, San Leandro Police were able to arrest a stabbing suspect.
The San Leandro Police Department had asked for the community's help in finding Victor Crow who was wanted for a stabbing that occurred on Oct. 14.
On Nov. 29, an alert citizen recognized Crow in public and immediately called the police dispatch center. San Leandro Police officers arrived and arrested Crow for the stabbing and he was booked.
“We will continue using social media and media sources more in 2013 to improve our crime fighting and information sharing with the public.," said Lt. Randall Brandt. "We appreciate this citizen helping us locate Crow.”
